FAWN FRITZEN

Fawn (she/her) has a Bachelor of Commerce from Carleton University and a diverse background both culturally and professionally. She speaks English and French, as well as her ancestral languages German and Mandarin Chinese. Born in Anemki Wequedong (Thunder Bay), she has lived in all three northern territories, settling in Kwanlin (Whitehorse) in 2005. Fawn has been a bookkeeper, business analyst, event producer, airline customer service agent, and recording jazz artist.

In her role with AURORA Workshops, Fawn loves to help workshop participants to continue their learning post-workshop, connecting them with the latest news in brain science and education research. Fawn also maintains the LDAY website and administers dyslexia screening tests.

Outside of work, she chauffeurs her teenage children and produces Cafe des Voix. She’s also a dedicated DIYer.
