Steph (she/her) grew up in beautiful Nova Scotia and maintains deep roots there while also loving her life and work in Whitehorse. Steph has a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology and Environmental Studies from Dalhousie University. She has always had a keen interest in the relationship between the social and natural worlds. That interest led to diverse work experiences and living in several remote communities: volunteering at a nature-based school on Vancouver Island, supporting outdoor education trips in Northern BC, and working as a camp counsellor at LDAY’s Camp Raven.

As the Adult Learning Facilitator at LDAY, Steph collaborates with clients to support their self-advocacy and develop personalized learning strategies for their unique learning needs. Outside of work, Steph enjoys spending time at the community garden, learning to play the fiddle, and plotting her next self-propelled adventure.
